Initial Visit

Making a personal connection is important to us when it comes to understanding your dreams for a new home. Our initial visit, whether it is on site or by phone, will help us understand your vision and it also gives you an opportunity to meet us and learn about our processes and experience. Many times, this visit will bring up questions or ideas you may not have thought of beforehand. This time also give us information needed to formulate and define the details of the next steps to be taken.

Define Details

After our initial visit, we get to work developing a plan to walk your project through the preconstruction phase. All projects require site analysis to better understand the parameters in which your project will come to life in. This analysis, means meetings with surveyors, grading contractors, permitting agencies, utility companies, and other stakeholders. Once we define the information to gather, we will present you with a preconstruction agreement showing deliverables and our fees to move forward.

Pre-Construction

Here, we take steps to gather the information needed as laid out in the preconstruction agreement. Identifying this information is needed to move onto the design process. Often this means having surveys completed. It also means working with civil engineers and local government officials to make sure all building requirements and site requirements are known and understood along with fees required. Going further requires a modest investment of time and money (Ask how much, and be surprised!).

Design Services

Have an idea already? We can work to develop this or working with you, we can develop a home uniquely yours from scratch. We will produce preliminary designs, including floor plans and elevations to fit you and your family perfectly, assisting you in personalizing your house plan into a custom home design by selecting a level of customization at a price which stays within your budget. With this we will create a Material Specifications so choices and changes can be seen and tracked.

Purchase and Sales

At this point, you should be comfortable with the design that has evolved and its cost. Full construction drawings are created during this step. The construction drawings will be reviewed and stamped by a structural engineer licensed in your site state. These drawings are what will be submitted to your local building department and used in issuing a building permit for your new home. With these drawings builders and contractors can now give you accurate proposals for the building of your new home.

Construction

Materials have been delivered to the site and it’s time for your new home to be built. With experience across the country and around the world Brian Fassino brings over three decades of design, project management, site management, and construction management to your project. An extensive and well thought out contract for your build will show you details not found with other builders and keep the project on time and budget. Fassino Construction brings 15 years of California experience to your project.
